Topic: Anyone hired on @ HarperCollins?

Can someone please give me a lead on who to speak to in regards to getting into their Avon books imprint? |
| Unemployed-gal | Posted – 1/6/2008 8:27:16 PM | show profile I've had a few interviews at HarperCollins, one of them an informational interview I got through this publishing course I took, a second through a classmate at that publishing course, and a third through an alumna of the college I went to (as you're probably starting to realize, its all about connections). I don't have any contacts at Avon, but I believe that HarperCollins is a lot like other publishing houses--they hire people when a position within the whole company as opposed to one imprint. Its a tough place to interview and I've heard a tough place to work at. Good luck, and sorry I can't be of more use! |
