Topic: aspiring editor needs advice

I work at a library and also as a copy editor for my school newspaper (university newspaper). If anyone has any suggestions about how I would get a foot into the publishing industry I would be grateful. |

I'm not sure where you live but I know that the more experience you can put on your resume the better. Also, you might start thinking about working on your resume, contacting family and friends who may know someone in the industry who can give you advice, do research into companies you'd like to work for and positions you'd like to have and do your best to meet people and make contacts. Just my two cents. Experience is key, though. |
