Anyone have feedback on what this job is like?
Or, does anyone know what it's like working at WSJ.com? Is it copy and pasting stories onto the site, or is there some reporting/editorial work involved?

News assistant jobs tend to be entry-level -- a bit more than copy/pasting but not exactly writing stories either.

All the different desks' news assistants perform different tasks, I believe, but they generally are entry or low-level positions and include the things like generating indexes, proofing pages (perhaps Web pages), formatting things, making calls, sending emails, etc.
