What I can't understand is why people who do not like Olbermann give power too him by posting things like this. Olbermann is a through and through liberal and he makes that clear every night. He is who he is. Why obsess? To be fair the same can be said for O'Reilly. |

I find it quite telling that NBC has put him all over the place, from Countdown to NFL Football when his ratings have been horrible, but his politics have been "correct". Same thing with Bob Costas - who is actually the most irritating guy on the air. To say this post is pointless is incorrect. To say "BO is just as bad" is also incorrect. First, the networks and their cable offspring have placed liberal mouthpieces in almost every on-air job and have for years. When they actually practice objectivity we can post on that. This is the world they have made, and this is where we have chosen to discuss it. Second, BO is not a conservative - and to label him so shows either ignorance or insincerity. Populist? You bet. Irritating? Sure can be. But conservative? Third, BO is not as bad because he basically does one thing and has no pretense about what that is. KO, like Costas, is manufactured to be the clever and funny sports guy - who then injects left-leaning and/or right-bashing political comments at any opportunity. |
