I'd like to pitch an article idea to Week in Review. Does anyone have contact info? Also, my idea would be most appropriate for this coming Sunday. Would they still be taking pitches for articles this late? Thanks.

RE: NY - Week in Review
I wish you good luck on this, but this sounds a little unrealistic. For one, many of not the vast majority of articles written are written by staff writers. Secondly, if they don't know you, you're not going to walk in the door and get a spot in the NYT Sunday paper. You'll have to build a relationship.

thanks for your thoughts. I had read that the NY Times uses a lot of freelancers - but perhaps not the Week in Review section? My piece may be better suited for just an editorial.

If you want to write for the NY Times, do more research first and learn what sections use freelancers. Then get the
name and email of that section editor. As someone stated,
the Week in Review generally does not take freelance.
