| Latin1 | Posted 1/5/2008 5:41:59 AM | show profile Olbermann clearly appeared disappointed during the Iowa Caucus that he could not hide it that night. You can tell he really wanted Hillary Clinton to win and could not even give Obama his props. Maybe Olbermann's racist tendencies are showing? But that evening he was really rooting for Hillary Clinton...and she came in the 3rd. He kept saying saying "she is running neck and neck"...uh, no she wasn't. She was 3rd place. I notice on his show he seldom mentions Barak, but when he did his interview with Hillary he was like a lap dog. |
| Latin1 | Posted 1/5/2008 5:52:46 AM | show profile lap dog...more like a 'crimedog'....lol |
| The Truth Cop | Posted 1/5/2008 8:51:39 AM | show profile That's funny... MSNBC seems HUGELY in the Obama camp. When I watch Scarborough and Matthews, they can't help but gush over this dude, even though he really hasn't done anything substantive in his political career. They're just enthralled with his charisma. I feel sorry for the Dems if he gets the nomination. It will clearly be the "emperor has no clothes" when his record (or lack thereof) is exposed. The country doesn't need an eloquent speaker. It needs a smart leader. I don't care how boring he/she is. Those who can remember or know history realize that as charismatic as JFK was, he was not highly regarded as a president. |

| jtjt225m | Posted 1/5/2008 10:41:40 AM | show profile What in the world Did I just read that JKF wasn't that regarded as a President. I'm sorry how regarded can you be when you were only able to serve two years before you assassinated? I mean he created the Peace Corps, he paved the way for more Civil Rights. Also, I think would we would live in a worst world if he had not worked to stop the Cuban Missile Crisis. He wasn't like the yahoo we have in office now who sent our troops to die. JKF actually talked to foreign leaders. I think Obama will be a fine president. He's not going to be arrogant as hell, and he might actually want to compromise. As for KO, who cares? He is not racist, I don't think you can do sports for as long as he as and be racist. When the numbers first came in, they were running neck and neck in the beginning, then Obama ran away with it. Also, she was close for 2nd place for a while. KO puts HRC down as much as the others, ok not as much the republicans, that's a given. |
| Olbypocrisy | Posted 1/5/2008 11:24:30 AM | show profile is crimedog off his meds???Everyone is the same person?? Does he forget he has posted under many ids??Is he to busy teaching little boys how to play the piano?? Do you forget JFK caused the Cuban Missile Crisis?? Bush never talks to foreign leaders ????Really?? |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 1/5/2008 11:37:14 AM | show profile FOX tanked! you can run away now and lick Frank's wounds Olby. |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 1/5/2008 12:53:19 PM | show profile let's be Frank - no I don't think so - but yes - it tanked - it tanked then sank. How about that Frank! |
| jjv4012 | Posted 1/5/2008 1:46:30 PM | show profile | email poster Kennedy presidency. *********************************************** I lived through the Kennedy years and I voted for him. What wasn't known until AFTER he died was that he was doped up his entire term with addictive pain medications taken for his back. He was a womanizer to put even Bill Clinton to shame and to top it off he was clearly out of his element foreign policy wise. His screw up of the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba is legend and was the CAUSE of the Russian missile build up to begin with. It's a good idea to learn history yourself instead of relying on the DNC version. *********************************************** I think Obama will be a fine president. He's not going to be arrogant as hell, and he might actually want to compromise. *********************************************** No experience needed, eh? The man has TWO years experience as a Senator (even here he has done nothing worthy of note but does have a couple of scandals cooking on the back burner simply waiting to be publicized should he gain the nomination) and never RAN even a small business. He has already said he would personally meet with any of the terrorist nation leaders one on one. This PROVES his total ignorance. He was not even able to see how they would use him to their own ends. The president of the USA does not readily agree to meet with ANYONE because simply doing so elevates the other person in the eyes of the world. It doesn't really matter though because in America today, as we fight the WOT there is no chance, none, that when people enter the voting booth and pull the curtain, in there alone with their thoughts beliefs hopes, wishes and fears, they will ever pull the lever for an inexperienced black man who happens to carry the name of HUSSEIN OBAMA. And you can cite any number of polls you care to, to the contrary. What people say to strangers with all the PC fears abounding, is totally different then what they will do in private when they needn't worry about it. |
| jtjt225m | Posted 1/5/2008 3:11:10 PM | show profile WOW, my man said a lot there. First, there is no fight that JFK made mistakes, yes he used drugs for his back. No doubt he makes what Clinton did in the 90s look like nothing, but if you gave me a choice between what we have now and JFK, last time I checked I don't think he would have tried to get rid of affirmative action, or anything to hurt our nation. Again, I think Obama will be a fine president. I am a young person and every time I read how we won't vote for a man Obama, it shows how ass backwards we are. We won't vote for a woman, we won't vote for a black man, we won't vote for a real war vet, because he's old. However we will vote for Mike Huckabee, did someone tell him the writers are still on strike yet? We will vote Rudy 9/11. We will vote for the truest of all flip floppers Mitt Romney. We'll vote for someone because they ran a business. A business! Let's get real. I will vote for someone who has lived life in the real world. Someone that knows what it means to struggle and someone that will keep us safe. Black, white, man or woman. I can't wait till we act like this is 2008 in the USA, not 1950. |
| jjv4012 | Posted 1/5/2008 3:46:06 PM | show profile | email poster Kennedy presidency. WOW, my man said a lot there. ************************************************* I tried to explain the importance of experience both in how a problem is approached by a president as well as how he is perceived. I can't and won't argue about any of this because you are admittedly a young person who has not seen the world as it actually has changed over the past 40+ years. You like my grand children are being taught a revisionist history by an education system that is more liberally agenda driven then they are driven to really educate the young people in our real history and as importantly the history of other nations. Winston Churchill, perhaps the greatest leader of of this or any century (look up his quotes and speeches. You will be greatly impressed with both his wit and genius) said "Anyone under the age of 30 who isn't a liberal has no heart. Anyone over the age of thirty that isn't a Conservative has no brain" What he said then is as true now as when he said it. And you are wrong about me not voting for a black simply because he is black. I will vote for whom I believe can best do the job AND is best EQUIPPED to do the job. A man with 2 years experience whether he is white, black, yellow or red is simply not seasoned enough and he has made a multitude of gaffes in his early speeches that will come back to haunt him, as they should. Whether you and the left you seem to favor believes we are in a fight for our very lives or not, the fact is we are. If you are not aware of the game plan of the terrorists and what they have in store for us it is only because the sources from which you get your news have held it from you as they have held the atrocities that occur on a daily basis, perpetrated by these same Muslim fundamentalists in Nations such as GB, France, Holland, Somalia, the Philippines and many other paces. It's time you woke up, my friend and instead of making your life altering decisions based entirely on emotion, use some of the common sense you were born with as well as the wonderful tools available to you to search out and discover the reality of what is happening all over this world. |
