I get loads of review copies from PRs and publishers, most of them solicited, of course. They keep piling up, and now I want to think of some way to decently part with them.

I WON'T sell them. Period. But donating to the local library seems like a fair and clean option. What's more, it's a charitable trust of sorts and mostly made up of books people give away. Other than that, I was considering giving them away on the book swapping sites. Would that be acceptable? I guess so, since I'm not charging them anything. Just wanted others to weigh in on this.

I'd love to know what others do with their review stuff.

I'm a member at PaperbackSwap.com >>>
and I believe that they don't accept review copies. I'd probably give to friends or donate.

I give the review books I don't want to the Salvation Army every year and any children's books go to shelter's and children's clinics.

Thanks for the input. I've decided to donate the books.

Try Freecycle
You could also give them away on Freecycle.org.
