| bulletinizer | Posted 1/18/2008 9:07:47 PM | show profile OK, South Carolina Voters... Mitt Romney needs a strong showing in the Palmetto State and John McCain needs to lose. Mike Huckabee will burn out all-by-himself. Sorry Fred-heads, not gonna happen. Giuliani's hurting too. I invite McCain, Huckabee, Thompson and Giuliani voters to join Team Romney and leave RINO politics in the dust. In November, Mitt Romney can beat Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama on both themes, "experience and change." Not to mention family values and financial strength. McCain was right on the surge in Iraq and earned his Vietnam War hero status, but that's simply not enough with the challenges Americans face economically. Breaking news; a Mrs. Smiths factory is closing in Spartanburg, SC and 525 people are out of work. McCain is flat wrong, wrong, wrong on tax cuts, illegal immigration, campaign finance reform, and nearly every other issue conservatives care about. Romney has the charisma and cash to crush the rest of the GOP field nationally. If you're squishy on McCain and Huckabee, or tired of losing with Thompson or Giuliani, please vote for Mitt Romney. We need a real republican on the ballot this fall. We are still electing a conservative, aren't we? Vote for Mitt Romney. America needs his leadership, yesterday. |
| stvj57 | Posted 1/20/2008 11:16:48 PM | show profile vote for who? as soon as the left began to realize they could not find any recent bad war news it all of a sudden became about the economy. i don't believe that the right is falling for leftist talking points. i am not saying that the economy is not important, but snatching a growing sense of victory in iraq out of the jaws of a defeat conceeded by the majority of democrats should be a point of interest. the left predicted gloom and doom in iraq at the hands of conservitives. they are predicting gloom and doom for the economy at the hands of the conservitives. they predicted a better america if they controlled the government. well they got controll of most of the government and now they are saying it is getting worse. the republicans said about iraq, give us a chance and we can turn it around. and, at least for now, they have. the libs said about america, give us the congress and senate and we can turn it around. and, at least for now, they haven't. bulletinizer says mccain is wrong on tax cuts but on another thread touts romneys tax cuts by class. tax cuts by class, where have we heard that before? taxing according to class, wtf. we already increase the tax rate as income rises. and this bs by obama about warren buffet paying more income tax than his secretary? total bull crap. buffet pays NO income tax. he is an employer and a corperation. he pays tax on capital gains not on income. and that rate is lower. he could i guess pay income tax but he chooses to stucture things to get the best deal for HIMSELF. just like the rest of the libs that profess to say the rich should pay more, then proceed to shelter themselves. i am not telling any of you people who to vote for. i hope you don't put hilary or obama in power though. lol. i have a feeling a lot of swing voters have voted for obama not because they want him so much, but as they don't want hilary. same for the other swing voters that have voted for hilary. i expect in the general election they will vote republican. and the real liberal dems will piss each other off so much fighting in the primaries that they won't vote for the democratic candidate if it is not theirs. just my opinion. but wtf do i know, i am just like most of you, an american a bit confused and trying to figure it out the best i can. so bulletinizer, please don't push your candidate on me while trying to put down the others. i like the rest of the folks here can think for myself. let the dems fight over their candidates so much they split their party and risk loosing the election. a republican candidate is the only one left that can appeal to the mainsteam american. the dems have gone too far already trying to appeal to their base. a true right winger will not fare any better. if abortion is your biggest concern then you are too far right or left depending on your position on it. same for gun controll if it is your big issue. if you want none or if you want total you are too far either way. if you can't live with the way those things are at least for now then you are missing the point. the economy will always try to be used as an issue by those who have no strengths to tout on other issues. the economy can always be argued. same as guns or abortion. those are the old standby arguments. |
