Posted 1/19/2008 1:58:31 AM | show profile | email poster If you happen to live in AZ & are applying for any jobs at McMurry Campus (publishing) BEWARE: AS THEY ARE KIND OF LIKE A CULT. First they post jobs for a looooonng time. Jobs that they are in no hurry to fill--it would be best for them to post jobs when they are actually serious about filling a position. Second: if you are deemed worthy, you will be called for a phone interview, then nothing definitive. Then if you are deemed worthy you will be called for an in person "meet some of the team" interview. Then when you ask the natural question, "how soon are looking to fill the position?" They say, "it's all about fit, certainly not tomorrwo." Then you ask, "what will the next steps be?" The next steps will be that you will have an internet test: personality & maybe skill---then more interviews going up the hierarchy of worthiness. Now these "players" and they are players because clearly they are playing games, will not tell you a word, so you call as you see the position is retitled. Then you find out the position you had been called in for was filled INTERNALLY. Now if McMurry knew their employees so well as they should as they supposedly keep getting themselves nominated as one of the best places to work in Phoenix (come on would you tell a reporter that you were working for a cult & the place sucked? No as you have a brain & you need your paycheck) they would have reviewed INTERNALLY FIRST WHO WOULD BE APPROPRIATE for this position AS THEY HAD A YEAR TO DO IT, BEFORE placing the ad & calling in applicants. This went on for a YEAR. Now if you don't take them seriously at all, want to waste your time, don't really want a job, look forward to being treated unprofessionally then apply to McMurry Campus to kill time. CRAZY
