| freelancepants | Posted – 1/20/2008 3:48:45 AM | show profile | email poster hi, i'm doing a series for a national women's pub on the freelance life. i'm interested in hearing from seasoned full-time freelancers (women only, please) on the following: -what you wish you'd known before you started working for yourself -nightmare client stories, and how you handled them -other hard-won business know-how that may not be intuitive/obvious/written about in every other freelance article -unusual marketing/promo practices that have worked -original ways of handling the financial ups and downs of the freelance life while i'm happy to hear from editorial workers, i'd love to hear from designers, publicists, and freelancers in all other industries/disciplines too. i'm also especially interested in hearing from single women, single moms, and married/partnered women who are the sole breadwinners in their family. please email me by feb 15 at freelancepants [at] gmail [dot] com. many thanks! |
