Topic: Fed interference of media and financial data

It seems unprecedented to me that the Fed. would interfere with the media's usual timely reporting of financial data to prevent a stock market crash. None of the financial reporting sources are providing the usual detailed real-time stock information. Is this as unusual as I think it is?
