| Mirage | Posted 1/24/2008 5:58:51 PM | show profile 1. Are you more attractive, less attractive or equally attractive as your spouse or partner? I think that we are equally attractive. 2. What job did you not get that you still wish you had been offered? A screenwriting/adaptations job at Scholastic. 3. Has anything wonderful happened to this month? No. I was supposed to have closed on an apartment, but...no. 4. What have the hardest times in your life taught you? That it's just not going to get any easier anytime soon. 5. Have you ever visited a psychic? No, but I read astrologyzone.com every month, in a sort of half-serious way. 6. Which of your friends is the most successful? It's a toss-up between the one whom I mentored who is now making twice my salary, and the one whose job I turned down and recommended her for, who is also making twice my salary. 7. Do you collect anything such as baseball cards, figurines, antiques, etc.? No, I can't stand clutter. 8. What websites do you visit every day? This one, myspace, and nytimes.com. 9. What do you think makes a person physically unattractive? Ignorance, immaturity, self-absorption. 10. Would you ever consider donating your body to science? I am an organ donor, but the rest is being cremated. ~Bonus Question~ When was the last time you vomited? New Year's Day, 2007. Not from drinking--from a terrible stomach flu that my boyfriend's family had the week before. |
| Donna Chang | Posted 1/24/2008 6:17:38 PM | show profile After thinking about it, my Bleak Spouse and I are equally attractive... |

| voracious reader | Posted 1/24/2008 6:50:32 PM | show profile Bonus Question... When was the last time you vomited? 3 hours ago! I woke up this morning with a stomach virus and I just had the strength to check my email and JBE's Thursday's randoms. |
| voracious reader | Posted 1/24/2008 6:57:40 PM | show profile Pamelabeth... Ditto what JBE said! Adversity will make you stronger and beginning today you will truly have a greater appreciation for living! I know from experience, unfortunately, more than once. |

| foto | Posted 1/24/2008 10:20:31 PM | show profile 1. Are you more attractive, less attractive or equally attractive as your spouse or partner? Less 2. What job did you not get that you still wish you had been offered? I never even get an interview! 3. Has anything wonderful happened to this month? First, I shot a good paying freelance job for a really good client. Second, I website that I wrote the copy for is finally up. 4. What have the hardest times in your life taught you? That I never get a break 5. Have you ever visited a psychic? I once passed by a psychic on 14th street. The woman waved at me to come inside, so I did. Now the Sign on the door said palm readings $5 but she asked for $10. I said"but the sign says $5"! She replied "oh thats $5 per palm." I paid $5 and got 1 palm read. Anyway, she proceded to tell me my life is a mess and for $200 she could create an astrological chart with candles that would solve all my problems. I said I didn't have the money and she insisted and asked for a credit card. I told her I'd just go to the nearest cash machine and get the cash. Needless to say, I didn't return. 6. Which of your friends is the most successful? They're all equally more successful than me. 7. Do you collect anything such as baseball cards, figurines, antiques, etc.? Actually the recent freelance job I had was shooting artwork at an art collectors home. Beautiful work, but too much!!! Priceless stuff everywhere. It was hard to work, made me nervous. I could never be a collector. I don't have the desire to own a lot of stuff. 8. What websites do you visit every day? Just MB 9. What do you think makes a person physically unattractive? bad attitude, hostility, anger, tartar teeth, nose hairs. visible boogers. 10. Would you ever consider donating your body to science? Possibly, yes. I know I'm going to donate my asshole to the Republican National Committee. I think they would appreciate it. ~Bonus Question~ When was the last time you vomited? Nothing recent but I've had a few famous episodes in the past. Once I was out drinking with a friend and barfed in front of a whole crowd of people on a subway platform. I then passed out on the train and woke up to find a policeman taking my pulse. This was of course, over 25 years ago. |
