You're a journalist? Don't be lazy. It is not rocket science to get this info. Pick up the magazine, find the section you want to pitch. Call to see who edits it, send an email query. I did pitch OUT a while back but never wrote for them.

i was looking more for anecdotes about working with either of the publications and if people had a particular editor they'd worked with before, that could be helpful information as well.

it seems like i made what is a fairly standard post around here, so not sure why it got the outburst. if anyone has helpful information, i'd very much appreciate it.

thanks.

I'd hardly call that an outburst. the email format
is firstinitiallastname@out.com. Bruce Shenitz
was nice and encouraging but never bit. I've
had much more success with The Advocate
and you can read that HTP here on Media Bistro.
