If there was ever a channel that wore its political choices on its sleeve, it's MSNBC. This isn't just being liberal vs. conservative. This is taking sides within the context of being liberal. I couldn't believe how blatantly people like Joe Scarborough (a rather unlikely liberal cheerleader) were touting that Bill Clinton was using "racial code words" in everything he said about Obama and the SC campaign on Saturday. It was incredible.

Craig Crawford (a must-read today) and Pat Buchanan were the only ones to cite some truth and common sense into the argument, but Scarborough and company would have none of it. It was "The Clintons are race-baiters" and Obama is the uniter.

Crawford is chiding the media (and presumably, most notably, MSNBC) for perpetuating this race-baiting nonsense in their efforts to prop up Obama as the chosen one. It's pretty pathetic.

People can rail against FNC all they want for leaning right. But MSNBC is not only leaning left, they're TAKING SIDES while leaning left. That's unprecedented.

The only one I think on MSNBC thats pro-Obama is Chris Matthews. He doesn't like Hillary or Bill Clinton (for reasons hes expressed). Joe Scarborough could hardly be considered pro-Obama (hes a conservative). Perhaps, he wants Obama to be the democratic nominee because he thinks he'd be a weaker canidate and that could be the reason for some of his statements. Tucker Carlson could hardly be considered pro-Obama (hes a conservative too). Keith Olbermann has been pretty balanced (even though hes a democrat, I think hes been fair to all of them, critizing and complementing them). Dan Abrams has been really fair to Hillary Clinton (calling out the media for these rediculous lies about her and her husband) and essentially, I think... fair to everybody.

The criticism the Clintons have gotten has been unpresedented and absolutely rediculous. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Bill Clinton calling Barack Obama's record on Iraq a "fairy tail." That doesn't even touch the zone of racism. And there are some serious questions about Obama's Iraq record (i.e. he voted for $300Billion dollars in funding for it). And there is also absolutely nothing wrong or anything racist about Hillary Clinton saying that it takes a president to pass legislation. IMO... you gotta look at who the source is... Major Garrett and the so-called "fair and balanced" team at Fox (which by the way, they never give her full quote which starts off by saying how great Dr. Martin Luther King was). The river runs through them. They have covered it the most. They have made the biggest federal case out of it. They have the motiviation to bring Hillary down. Its just rediculous.

If you wanna look at some serious cases of media bias consider the fact that Sean Hannity participated in Rudy Giuliani's fundraisers. Something that could get you fired if you worked for a legitimate news organization. Or that mostly all their primetime hosts are admittantly conservative (Cavuto, Gibson, Hume, O'Reilly, Hannity, Gutfeld). They only have one liberal and he has to share his hour with fiercely-conservative Hannity.

Agree with this....they droll over Obama
Agreed - watch Morning Joe. It's all pro-Obama stuff. Mika can hardly contain herself on the subject. So much for her integrity. She is very negative on the Clintons and drooling over Obama - hey, her father supports Obama, You really think that this does not influence her opinion?

"And there is also absolutely nothing wrong or anything racist about Hillary Clinton saying that it takes a president to pass legislation."

Except, of course, that the President doesn't pass legislation. he/she can offer a bill, but the legislature (aka Congress) passes legislation.

I guess it just can't be how the news cycle is working this way. Obama is the hot thing right now, a few months ago Hillary was hot. Also, I know it is really hard to come to terms with, but Bill Clinton was using racial code words while in South Carolina last week. He topped it off with his, "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina twice" blast on Saturday. That is part of the reason Obama got 24% of the white vote for that primary.

Lastly, MSNBC isn't so pro-Obama, they just want people to think about the possibility that he has a chance. I think we all have met people who only think Hillary is going to win and no one else. There are a thousand more people who are pro-Clinton. I mean just a month or so ago people were mad because KO wouldn't give Obama the light of day, now everyone is mad he's even being given a chance. What a fickled society we are.

Once Again Morning Joe plugs Obama
Just watchcing Morning Joe and it has become almost indecent the way they both - Joe and Mika - droll over Obama.

Obama's speeches are never dissected they just cal them "inspirational" but WHERE"S THE BEEF? What exaclty is Obama going to do to bring about all this change? I can't find any substance in what he says but MSNBC sure loves him.

MSNBC is the Obama network
Quote from Tucker Carlson, "I don't agree with Barack Obama on anmost anything but I like him--why, because he's the only one who can stop Hillary".

Morning Joe, Mika, Shuster, Geist, O'Donnell, Carlson are so firmly in the Obama camp it isn't funny. But Matthews takes the cake. He was practically in tears the night of the New Hampshire Primary. STEAM comes out of his ears when Hillary is mentioned. I no longer watch the coverage. It's a sad day when Fox News is more favorable towards a Clinton than MSNBC .

You mean favorable to Clinton like FNC contributor Dick Morris. I mean we all know Morris is so in love with the Clintons. Fred Barnes completely loves her too. Complete lovefest on that network towards the Clintons.

You said it MSMBC OBAMA NET
Yes MSNBC has become the Obama network. The whole lineup is so pro Obama it is sickening. And they are taking sides on the left fight. I can barely watch Mika as her body language tells so much - she bristles when the subject of Hillary comes up and glides with delight when Obama is praised.

The question is what has Hillary ever done to them? She must have refused to come on some of their pathetic shows to piss them off like this. Now I want Hillary to win just to shut them all up.
