I have been a graduate from Communication Studies for nearly 2 years now with no sign of a job in my field in sight. I have been overseas trying to do anything that it will take to break into the business. I want to discover a more secure position in journalism at a publication. What is my next step? Iam always applying for jobs online and constantly keeping my portfolio up by writing something and having it published each month. I know I have the talent but I need to get into a company to give that extra umph...to put all that i have to work and really show what I can do and learn more that there is to learn. I have even gone so far as to contacting publications about the olympics in Beijing as I have a teaching opportunity in September so I will be in the geographical region. Are there any experts out there with some advice? Sincerely, Meaghan Hillier |
