Date: Tuesday January 29 Time: Reception: 6-7 p.m. Program: 7-8:30 p.m. Speakers: Deborah Howell, Ombudsman, The Washington Post Lisa Shepard, Ombudsman, National Public Radio Dorothy Brizill, head of DC Watch The discussants will explore the role of the ombudsman and if that role helps journalism and the community. This is a free event sponsored by the Washington, D.C. Pro SPJ chapter and the SPJ Project Watchdog. Journalists and the public are invited. SPJ membership not required.
