So sad to see you go, you never really had a chance.

This sucks. My two favs were Biden and Edwards. Wonder how Edwards supporters will vote now.

Ha! Ugo...you beat me to the punch.
I was going to start a thread

And then there were four!

Even I hope that McCain beats creepy Romney.

At least it will make the waters clearer on super Tuesday, no wondering who Edwards supporters would've voted for.

I guess it depends on why they supported Edwards. If it was because he seemed like a nice guy, then maybe Obama. If they liked his health care policies, then maybe Clinton. I have no idea.

I hope Edwards stays involved and has a major role in government (possibly VP?).

It will be a Hillary sweep!!!! Democrats ought to be shamed at the way the have treated the Clintons. The Democrats would be nothing without them.

well--my plan was to vote for kucinich on principle and then help to support/elect the nominee when we had one. when i lost dennis, i went to edwards. now what?? both of the frontrunners have been getting on my nerves with their behavior, and i don't know how to proceed. i want a president who's a decent person and also has a plan--and i want that plan to benefit the people (healthcare, education, societal good) rather than involving spying on us or sending us to trumped-up wars. too much to ask??!

The Democrat party faithful in their infinite wisdom have once again booted the candidate with the best shot at getting the White House this fall. Edwards was talking too much "dangerous talk" about corporate responsibility etc for the likes of the powers that be, so off he goes.

So now the Dems are stuck with Billary and Obama. Barring a complete meltdown by McCain or Romney, the Dums will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory this November.

Sometimes I think the DNC is taking payoffs to throw the game.

Keltoi - McCain and Gulliani ticket?

This is weird seeing that McCain and Hillary are best of friends.

That would be a strong possibility, crimedog. They get along well, bring in different parts of the country, and would draw enough Independents and Dems to take the election. The fact that the rightwingnuts of their own party don't want either one is an endorsement in itself.

It's a strange marriage. It's the war monsters!

Yup. Don't like, or understand, McCain's gung-ho Iraq stance, and don't like Rudy's riding of 9/11, but it would be a tough ticket to beat.

Usually you'd think Rudy's ego would be too big to accept veep, but everyone knows McCain's long in the tooth so he'd probably only go one term, setting up Rudy for a run in 2012.

It's down right creepy.

I still think Obama has a shot. I can't see any difference between McCain and Hillary. If Hillary won she'd be wearing the Mission Accomplished vest as her predcessor. She'd be Thatcher East!

Couldn't vote for Billary myself. They're part of the machine.

Keltoi, if we've got McCain and Clinton in the general election who are you voting for?
Iron Eagle Posted – 1/31/2008 10:52:34 PM | show profile
They are the same.. I'd have to go with Clinton after seeing McCain waltzing around with Count Dracula G today. I swear there were moments Gulliani shared the same profile of the Count and looked like he was ready to down a few gallons of plasma and chew his was through some bone.

Russ Limbaugh may save us all with his hatred for McCain and Count G.

Ugo, that's where I hope that Bloomberg jumps in as an Indy with Chuck Hagel as his veep. They'd get my vote.
