| joep | Posted 2/1/2008 2:11:47 PM | show profile Intrepid Media is seeking submissions from up-and-coming published writers, preferably with a release to plug, to barter their experience for publicity. Write an original column, 500-1000 words, about your experience writing, pitching, getting published, etc. and in return we'll feature that column on our site and work with you to create and run a banner ad for your release for a month. We've done this informally for a while now and we'd like to put a little more effort into it. We can only do one of these a month to keep them targeted, so if you're interested, please contact us first at our web-messaging form. It can be found here: http://www.intrepidmedia.com/membermail.asp?id=8 Intrepid has been a niche, quirky, and growing pop-culture/writing destination since 1999 with 1000 members. We've been a Writers Digest best website for writers, a quote source for USA Today, MSN.com, and several national and regional magazines and newspapers. We're completely viral and word-of-mouth, privately held and run, and we don't take ourselves too seriously. Of course, you don't have to be published to write for us. We have a Gallery where anyone can sign up and write, and periodically we pull those columns from the Gallery for a feature run. We do what we love, we write about it, discuss it, critique it, and thus stay very passionate about it. If this sounds like you, please visit us at intrepidmedia.com. It's free, easy, and private. |
