In between the debate on wether or not we should feel sorry for Britney Spears, discussion with Maria Osmond about wether or not Britney Spears had postpartum depression, and feeling sorry for Britney's kids... Headline News gave us a real reason to feel sorry for some kids...

"The US military says coalition forces accidentally killed 9 Iraqi civilians including a child while chasing Al Qaeda suspects South of Baghdad. 3 other people were wounded in Saturday's operation and it is the deadliest known case of mistaken identiy in Iraq in recent months. The military has offered condolences to the victims families and a US Army spokesman says the incident is under investigation." - Headline News 2/4

Well I'm sure that now that the military is offering their condolences, all will be well. But Bush is a "compassionate christian conservative" and the surge is "working" right? I look forward to this being the top story on "Nancy Grace," Greta, and Bill O'Reilly. If this is John McCain's definition of winning... I don't wanna win.

Tell the victims of this atrocity and the victims of the other US blasts/airstrikes/bombs that they've just been victims of "collateral damage" and "that happens in war." I bet Americans wouldn't like it if they said to Americans that they just suffered "collateral damage" in 9/11 and should "just get over it." Tell that to their familes. Real people. Real victims. Real lives.

Its not a question of wether or not we can or should win in Iraq. The reality is that we have no legal justification to be there. Theres no weapons of mass destruction. They posed no threat to us. The main reason we should leave is because we have no right to be there.

In other wars such as WWII, those were necessary wars, we had reason, we had purpose, we had justification. In Iraq, we have none of that. The American people, congress, and the Iraqi people were lied to by this administration about why we were going there. It had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction. It had everything to do with oil, high level government company contracts, and Bush's pocket.

If Bush and his family believes in this war so much... why aren't his daughters there? Simple, because George would never sacrifice his most precious possession for money. He would however, sacrifice other peoples kids to do the dirty work.

I, along with millions and millions of other people are trying to keep America's solemn promise to our heros... that we will never send them into battle unless its absolutely 100% necessary.

Well... I think the reason is simple... the U.S. military and the United States of America is supposed to be better than terrorists. We're supposed to be better than people who trick mentally handicapped women with Down Syndrome into being suicide bombers. We're supposed to be different from the terrorists. They are the supposed enemy we are fighting. They are the bad guys... its not supposed to be us. But I'll bet if you asked the victims of this mistaken idenity operation who the terrorists are... they would all say the Americans. And that is wrong. That is something we must speak out agianst... and that is something we must stop. Because we're not the terrorists, we're better than that!
