A few years ago at 19/20 years old, I worked for a magazine as the marketing designer..with little experience and no secondary education, I wasn't really useful elsewhere.

What type of degree is recommended for perusing a career at a future publication?

publishing grad progs
Hi, I obtained a graduate certificate in publishing from a school in Boston and felt that it gave me a good understanding of all facets of both the book and magazine publishing industries. There are programs in other cities like NYC that are great for this experience as well. May be a good start before spending the money on a full Master's program.
