| Quatermain | Posted 2/9/2008 11:22:47 AM | show profile I just had a thoroughly unpleasant experience with a group called "GetInterviews," "training" to write resumes. I thought it would be a lucrative part-time gig, instead, after two days of "training" with a lot of sarcastic nitpicking, I told'em to bone off. I'm guessing this is how they get free writing talent. Anyone else work with these people? |
| Canadiana | Posted 2/9/2008 1:32:30 PM | show profile I was wondering about that company since it seemed like a great gig and they've advertised on MB a few times. However, it sounds like one of those "too good to be true" deals. Sigh... |
| Quatermain | Posted 2/9/2008 2:23:24 PM | show profile Could be just me. $75 to write a resume seems good at first, but it's more strenuous than it sounds - several pages of additional info to wind into an existing resume, and a very stringent writing style which is unnecessarily verbose. Takes a few hours, not worth the $75, in my estimation. |
