Once again Schuster has to apologize. I remember when David Shuster apologized for an error in reporting the name of the last soldier to die in Iraq from Marsha Blackburn's district when he did his ambush piece on Marsha Blackburn. He did a sneak attack and then he was MISTAKEN. How can you be a reporter and when you ask a serious question you should have your facts straight.

Now once again he is apologizing for his terrible attack on Chelsea Clinton.

How many apologys in one year should a 'reporter' do in major FLUB ups on camera before they are fired?

Ironically, both grievances occurred when Shuster was subbing for Tucker Carlson.

I'm not here to give a political opinion and I don't want this to sound partisan because I'm not partisan. But what is Shuster doing as a commentator? Isn't he a reporter?

MSNBC needs to make it clear what he is.

MSNBC has no reporters, just left wing commentators they call reporters. Finally the truth is out about this 2nd rate cable operation.

They have all taken on the personaility of MSNBC god Keith Olbermann and they have jumped the shark.... finally.

Here's my theory.

Concerned by the declining ratings of friend and colleague Tucker Carlson's show, MSNBC correspondent David Shuster vows to "spice up" each "Tucker" episode he is asked to guest host. He attempts this by committing a series of on-air faux pas(es) that set the blogosphere ablaze. There's no such thing as bad publicity, right? Just ask John Gibson.

Right now David Shuster is enjoying his suspension, sipping a hot cocoa in a ski lodge nestled deep in the heart of a godless, Northeastern blue state. He takes comfort that people are talking about the Tucker show again. They may not be talking about Tucker - but it's a start, right?

Why would Shuster put his reputation on the line just to momentarily boost interest in the Tucker show? Well, back in college, Shuster was instrumental in helping Tucker lose his virginity. True story.

SuburbanCorrespondent you are probably correct
You are probably correct. I do think that some of the 'reporters' at MSNBC are trying to "sex-up" MSNBC close to something like Howard Stern show to try to attract ratings.

Olbermann has gone close to the edge and Schuster has just pushed it to the edge...maybe over the edge.

It was reported that Shuster's question to the congresswoman was actually right. Just like in the case of Rudy Giuliani, when corrections are made, they get barried in the back pages. They made Shuster apologize before getting all the facts, because MSNBC brass has no balls. Link below.

Its sad NBC news has respect, so they have some balls. MSNBC has no respect, so there management has no balls.
