Schuster told Willie Geist (Hi Willie, I enjoy your act) his wife was a "good reporter." Schuster can add that to his NY State unemployment check.

Now, David, don't forget to check in twice a month...

I just have to ask, why are some people on this board brimming with hatred for David Shuster, and taking such perverse glee in his downfall? I mean sure, the guy made a few stupid remarks, but come on, it's David Shuster! Kind of a small fish in a big pond. It's not like some horrible media boogeyman has suddenly been defeated, and now happiness and journalistic integrity will flower throughout the land.

As I said in a previous post, this is more a sign of people being pissed off along party lines - just like Bill O'Reilly's story about his dinner with Al Sharpton. If people would just take a deep breath and examine the situation before screaming bloody murder based on their ideological hatred of MSNBC/Fox, we might be able to address the real issues at play here. God forbid.

I think you have touched on the reason Sub. Shuster is a small fish, so the small fish is easy to kick while he down. Now people like to look over the fact he use to work for FNC. What if he said the same thing, but on FNC? Roger Ailes would've stood up for his employee. MSNBC has no understanding of something like that. They want people to watch them, since no one does. The thing they don't understand is, if you back your employees, you will get viewers.

For all there hatred of FNC
For all the hatred of FNC I do have to say that Roger Ailes does stand by his people.
