| Stace | Posted 2/27/2008 3:05:52 PM | show profile | email poster Hello! I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and couldn't find the answer. I recently started an entertainment website and the traffic is already picking up. We would like to include original event photography and interviews on the website. Does anyone have any tips on how we should go about contacting artist's publicists? Thanks in advance for the help! |
| write2rachel | Posted 2/27/2008 5:26:58 PM | show profile You might want to sign up for IMDBPro.com. It's like $13 a month, but they should have all of the contact info that you need. Good luck! ------ www.rachelcericola.com |
| Stace | Posted 2/27/2008 5:35:13 PM | show profile | email poster Thank you Rachel! I will sign up today! As far as sending emails/calling, do you have any tips on what to include in the email and how to get my request across the best way? |
| write2rachel | Posted 2/27/2008 9:20:07 PM | show profile Hmm... just make sure to mention who you are working fore and the story. I'm not going to lie -- some might ignore you or turn you down for requests. You might also want to sign up for press sites for TV networks and movie studios. You will have to do some digging on the web to find those. However, if you get approved, you won't even have to ask permission -- you just download the photos and run the appropriate photo credit. You won't get photos of events, but you will get tons of celebrity pics from different TV shows, talk show appearances, movie stills, etc... and they are free! ------ www.rachelcericola.com |
