Hi,

Sorry about this, but I need a quick answer to a complicated grammar question.

What is the general rule on using multiple possessives?

For example:

This chapter profiles China?s and India?s differing approaches to foreign investment and indigenous entrepreneurship.

Is this correct? Are the rules flexible on using an apostrophe? Does the fact that these are countries make any difference?
