Topic: Which NYT business sections are pitchable?

| ISR | Posted 3/5/2008 12:56:47 PM | show profile Do other freelancers for the business section know which columns specifically (weekends, weekdays) are pitchable, or should I just pitch a standard business story rather than trying to figure out the format? Much of it seems written by columnists, so it's not clear what kind of features they'd freelance out. Any help appreciated. (I've written about business for other national magazines, and for other sections of the NYT.) |

| ISR | Posted 3/5/2008 9:03:24 PM | show profile I haven't---I prefer to pitch cold, though I'm not sure why. I suppose I can ask him, though either way I still want to know what's *not* pitchable before I waste the Biz ed's time. |
