Will you still go (if you're accepted) after this whole scandal with the dean making up quotes (allegedly)? Obviously all this is hypothetical but I'm having serious doubts if it's really the kind of place that can still turn out well trained ETHICAL journos. Any thoughts? No anti-j-school snarks please |

First of all, I'm skeptical as to whether or not he made these quotes up. I also don't think this politically-motivated against Dean Lavine indicts the quality or reputation of the school at large. |

Any way, even if these attack are politically motivated, it bothers me that he cannot identify the person who made this very self serving comment to him in any way, but he remembers what the person said clearly enough to quote him or her exactly. I didn't really have an opinion on the dean until know. The more I try to deconstruct this problem, the more obvious it seems that he could have made this whole thing up. |
