There's still one week to enter the Deadline Club's annual journalism contest -- and get your finest work recognized by the New York journalism community! The postmark deadline is March 15, 2008. Sponsored by the Deadline Club, the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, the contest honors the best journalism in the New York metro area. This year's contest is for entries published or aired in 2007. Winners will be announced at the May 15, 2008, ceremony at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square, where Paul Steiger, former editor of The Wall Street Journal, will give the keynote address and congratulate the award winners. Last year's finalists and winners ranged from Web reporters, to staffers at New York dailies, to photographers and TV reporters. You could be next -- but you have to enter to win. There are three simple steps: Fill out the form, give us a brief cover letter, and send those in with your work.
