Topic: In-house versus take-home freelance copy editing

Am I correct in assuming that freelance magazine editing is generally performed in house? I've also heard that books are generally take home? Any thoughts on other places to look for take-home work? My background is in web, with expertise in editing food writing, but I'd ideally like to pick up some print experience. Thanks for your input! |
