Hi,

I?m scouting on behalf of my client for journalists who write about marketing and advertising to cover a branded, sponsored music event taking place April 10 ? 13 in and near Nashville. It?s a private concert with big-name talent for more than 400 guests from around the world. This is a major marketing initiative by a major U.S. beverage maker. I?m looking for writers to cover not the music or popular culture story, but the business story.

Transportation, accommodation and meals will be provided. You can attend for a day, stay overnight or stay for the entire event. For interviews, you will have access to senior company executives as well as guests and musicians.

All writers attending the event must have confirmed assignments with trade publications that cover the marketing and advertising industry or general interest newspapers or magazines that reach a significant business audience.

To be clear, this is not a corporate writing assignment paid for by the advertiser. Rather, it is similar to a travel FAM trip, with my client offering to cover the expense of transportation, accommodation and meals to enable freelancers to experience the event so they can write about it.

If this interests you, contact me and I will provide you with more information.

Hey Chaos, this isn't really my bag anymore but you might get some interest from the folks at Event Marketer magazine (www.eventmarketer.com).
