I've been emailing my cover letter and resume to several places for the past month and have yet to hear anything back. In addition to submitting a resume and cover letter do I also need to send a college verification letter about my enrollment, even if none of the websites specificaly say for applicants to send it? everything I see is always about employers saying "email resume" or "email resume and coer letter." I'm mostly applying to big production studios in NY and LA. I'm just reeeaally woried that maybe I've made a mistake by not emailing a college verification letter.

There is no need to send a college verification letter unless they ask for it. In most cases, they will ask for a transcript instead.

Or HR just checks your college credentials. I don't think many people ask for a transcript either. All these documents can be easily forged, so most companies just check with the school directly.

If it's an internship for academic credit, you migth have to show proof that you're in school and receiving credit for the internship, but they'd ask for that after you've been hired for the internship. And that's something you could easily get from your registrar's office.

I have never had to send one. A resume or cover letter should suffice. In my experience, they as for verification after you have been offered an internship.

I'm in hr. Do not send a college verification letter. It's not necessary. If verification is important to the company, they'll simply call your school and verify that way.
