I am the editor of www.makeupmondomag.com, the online magazine of www.makeupmondo.com, a new virtual library of professional-grade makeup application videos and tips. I am looking for writers to compose short (200-250 words), witty, upbeat articles concerning all things beauty and cosmetics. I have editorial concepts from which you can choose, or if you have topics about which you've been itching to write, I would love to hear those. Currently, since this is a brand new website, there is no budget to compensate writers (I'm not getting paid yet either!). Please don't let this be a deterrent! We have a solid advertising plan already in action. This would be a great opportunity for you to expand your portfolio and get your name out there on a very credible and exciting new site. You most certainly will have a byline. If you are interested, please email me. Include a description of your relevant experience and any clips you have. Thank you! -Julia |

I?ve been a full-time copywriter for 5 years (writing almost exclusively to women), and a marketing manager for two. I have many writing clips ? but they are of advertorials and 1-page ads, which editors tend to look down on! If you?re interested in seeing writing samples, please let me know. I?m new to media bistro so I don?t have a resume page set up yet ? You can reach me via email if you like (nicolebigras@yahoo.ca). Thanks, Nicole. |
