Topic: Who is Larry Sinclair? Why is he contacting news

| Latin1 | Posted 3/16/2008 10:59:08 AM | show profile I keep getting emails saying that why hasn't cable news investigated the allegations of Larry Sinclair and prove that they are true or not. Who is Larry Sinclair and why is he trying to get a story out there on cable news? Does he have an interesting story to tell? |
| Latin1 | Posted 3/16/2008 11:13:50 AM | show profile I heard this guy... I heard this guy has been trying to get his story, but cable news won't pick it up. Does anyone know about what story this Larry Sinclair is talking about? |
| SuburbanCorrespondent | Posted 3/19/2008 4:49:12 PM | show profile Jesus Latin, you really are a hack! You could have at least tried to be subtle about your sleazy little hit job. You even posted twice to keep the thread alive - well played! And I love the "hey, has anyone heard about this...?" stuff. Classic. What whackjob group is paying you to spread this crap around - or is this a hobby? I feel bad for even bumping this thread, but I felt like I had to say something. This is the most blatant example of the nauseating tactics that are dragging journalism, and our national discourse, straight into the toilet. |

Classic. What whackjob group is paying you to spread this crap around - or is this a hobby?" lol, Suburban Correspondent, hack? You mean like what the New York Times did with John McCain last month? IMPLYING that he had an affair with a lobbyist, when there was NO proof. Remember that one? You should ask what 'whackjob group' was paying the New York Times, one of the most read papers in the country, to write sleazy IMPLICATIONS that were not even substantiated? Now THAT was a sleazy hit-job. Oh, wait, probably no one since the New York Times would do it for free to spread THEIR 'hackjob' leftist agenda without any proof. |
| SuburbanCorrespondent | Posted 3/20/2008 4:44:37 AM | show profile The New York Times printed their "hit job" in a newspaper. They didn't go to websites and make random posts that say, "Hey, I heard that John McCain had an affair! What is the deal with THAT?!", That's just the kind of underhanded technique that is become all too commonplace in this age of push-polling and other sleazy tactics. You know all too well what the whole "Larry Sinclair" thing is about. If anyone had actually READ the NY Times piece, they would have seen that the "affair" allegations accounted for about 2 sentences of a lengthy article that mostly dealt with McCain's coziness with lobbyists. And even then, it just said that aides were concerned about the "appearance" of a romantic relationship. But hey, who reads the newspaper when they can read partisan talking points, right? Again, you're using a sleazy tactic that I've found is commonplace on this message board - turning an argument into something else entirely. This argument is about your BS "Does he have an interesting story to tell?" post. NOT about John McCain, or the New York Times. Ugh, why do I even bother? Every time someone rational shows up here they are immediately scared off by a bunch of insane, childish nonsense. All you people do is make me lose faith in humanity. The inmates have truly taken over the asylum. BTW I keep getting emails saying that why hasn't cable news investigated the Victor Ashe stories and prove that they are true or not. Who is Victor Ashe? Does he have an interesting story to tell. |
