| Latin1 | Posted – 3/17/2008 6:33:45 AM | show profile Cable News has been all over Barack Obama's pastor and mentor of 20 years, but what about Cable News looking into Obama going to Kenya and helping out his Islamic extremist cousin Obinga? In Kenya Muslims are a minority, but Obama's cousin Obinga, wants to change all that. Obinga wants to introduce strict Islamic Sharia law in Kenya and start more Islamic teachings in that country. Right now Muslims are still a minority. http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/2/17/54857/5701 Kenyan opposistion leaders were distressed that Barack Obama came to Kenya and openly supported his cousin Obinga in his bid in an election in 2006. Kenyan officials called Obama Obinga's "Stooge" for meddling in their elections and backing an extremist Muslim. Here is the part of the story that Cable News should be looking at, instead of the Pastor Wright thing. Sure that is also important, but this a very important news item that should be looked at. Here is the part: "Odinga has a pact with the National Muslim Leaders' Forum, a hardcore Islamic organization that represents Kenya's Muslim minority. Odinga has promised Muslim leaders that he will establish Sharia courts throughout the country once elected. He has also promised to impose Muslim dress codes for women, prohibit the sale of pork and alcohol, and ban Christian preaching. There is still more, and it takes us to the very crux of the matter. In the late summer of 2006, Barack Obama visited Kenya and vocally supported Odinga and his presidential ambitions. There are pictures on the web showing the two together. During that visit, the Kibaki government likened Obama to an Obinga "stooge," an unfortunate moniker for a presidential hopeful." Obama meddled in another countries election on the side of his cousin an avid Islamist. A person who wants strict Sharia law imposed in Kenya. Cable News should investigate this. |

Obinga was upset and his 'thugs' murdered over 1,000 Christians in retaliation of Obinga's loss. There has been constant attacks on Christians after that. I like how one of the tools you cite says Obama's relatives were "Islamics" -- is that like "Muslimoid" or something? And how is Obama's mother a "strict Wahabbist"? Does this person even know what a Wahabbist is? Is there such a thing as a non-stirct Wahabbist? I'd love to ask that man: is a Wahabbist: a.) A salafist b.) A sunni c.) Both d.) Neither (I'd answer that, but I like the idea that Latin1 probably could only guess but portends to know anything about "Obinga" or "Odinga" (who care how it's spelled -- it's just a weird African Islamoidist anway.) Also: that Indonesian school? It was a public school. I've been to Indonesia few times. It's perhaps one of the few shining lights in the Islamic world. Indonesians are tolerant people. The world's largest Muslim country has large minorities of non-Muslims living in that society. I dated a Muslim Indonesian gal for a while -- she was a normal person -- non tentacles or witchy Middle Eastern knives in her shawl. She didn't wear a shawl. God, right wingers are such racist, xenophobic tools, as you can see by reading some of this crap Latin1 just posted. |

And in another thread saying Obama couldn't win Texas because Hispanics are racists. Well, having lived in Mexico for a number of years, I assume you that Hispanics can indeed be racist -- though I usually find the racism kinda harmless since -- Mexicans don't tie black people to the back of pickup trucks and go for long drives int he countryside like white people have been known to do. But in any case, there seems to be a rabid hatred of Obama on Latin1's part. This obviously undermines his or her ability to be objective. I have not endorsed Obama here. If I've endorsed anything it has been Hillary Clinton's health plan (though later rescinded the endorsement because I think Obama's and Hillary's plans are virtually the same). So I think my point it that Ltain1 and Ron Mexico are showing exactly what the next eight months is going to entail. Obama is going to be hit hard on the "Islam" thing (which is bigoted hate mongering by the right wing peanut gallery) and he will be hit hard on the pastor problem (a legitimate issue). It's nice to see Latin1 and Rom Mexico are doing their part for the "good fight". PS: The pastor problem is going to be a big one, though. We're going to hear Rev. Wright chanting "God damn America" for the next eight months. If Obama loses because of this pastor thing, it will be justice served IMO, because it won't be white people losing it for him, it will be these religiously inspired morons from the black community that blew it for him. The member of that church should be embarrassed that they may have just cost Obama the race, and, if not, they have just given "The Man" some very potent ammunition. Way to go, idiots. |

My last post is not about rumors of Barack being a Muslim, it is about Barack Obama's JUDGEMENT and MEDDLING on the behalf of a relative, who is questionable, in a different country. This post is NOT about Barack supposedly being a Muslim, but once again Barack's JUDGEMENT. Just because someone is your distant relative doesn't mean you have to help them out to win an election using your influence, especially if it might harm the United States of America, like Barack did. |

This thread is about the News media looking at the connection between Obama and his cousin in Kenya who wants to impliment strict Islamic Sharia law. That it was reported Obama helped campaign for him. I would like to see the media check out this story, because it shows that Barack might have Bad Judgement and meddled in another countries affairs and election if Obama campaigned for him. Easy as that. There is NO race, NO Obama is a Muslim in my writings, but nice try to use smoke-n-mirrors chucho. But it appears you are really ignorant, like your race-baiting friend crimedog/eagle, to try to set up road blocks concerning a valid question that the Cable News should investigate. As we all know, conservatives consider affirmative action as racism but discrimination against minorities is OK as long as nobody acknowleges that it happens. To a conservative: red-lining home loans in poor, black neighborhoods is just common sense, but calling these neighborhood "black neighborhood" is consider "racist". And, of course, any evidence that counters a conservatives' ultimate denial of racism is dismissed a coming from either the "lib-ril" media or the "elite intellectual establishment that doesn't know how the real work works". In either case it's impossible to argue with a person who has fashioned a world view that considers red lining a wise business practice and any evidence of institutional racism as being liberal propaganda. Your defenses are quit fascinating. |
