| Mulberry | Posted – 3/19/2008 11:03:49 AM | show profile | email poster If I take a web-only job right out of college (with minimal writing opportunity, except for the website of the magazine I would be working for), will I have a hard time getting a job as an assistant editor or associate editor down the line? I plan to also pitch magazines and websites on the side so that I can get some freelance writing work and experience (which I've already been doing), but if I eventually want to work on the print side of a magazine, will my web-only background be a major disadvantage? Thanks! |
