Topic: Television News Starting Salaries NYC?

Generally speaking I'd be a production assistant at the cable channels or a desk assistant at the networks. In New York, what can I expect the starting salary to be...I'm not sure if jobs will ask me how much I'm expecting to be paid but I want to have a generally idea of how much first year employees are actually making. I know not to expect health insurance or any other benefits at the beginning, or much money for that matter, but I would hate to UNDER estimate my worth, haha. Also, I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences starting out... and any advice. Kelly |
