I'm new and I have no idea what I'm doing, but I like to write.
What are some common sources for research? IOW, the internet is HUGE and I'm guessing that most experienced writers have a few fave search engines or sites they frequent for research--??

Thanks,

Jamie R.

Well okay, I'll answer my own post. I'm wondering if my problem is that my interests are too broad. I know how to *do* research for things I'm familiar with, such as topics I researched in grad school, but for topics that are totally new...I'm thinking maybe the key is to specialize within what I know rather than branching out too broadly.
I know, if you're reading this you're probably thinking "duh". I was just looking for some more tools to add for searching out obscure things like...How long DOES it take for a cucumber to transform into a pickle?..without spending hours looking up sources.
