That's what Esther Crain told me, but I find it hard to belive, considering the HTP article.

Any advice?

I've gotten that line from pubs that they aren't using freelancers. I think it's their way of saying that they do not want to work with you that won't get much of an argument. It probably beats saying that they did not like your clips or that they only use their pals from j-school.

... or at least this is how I explain this to myself.
