| sophiesMOM | Posted 4/9/2008 2:02:57 PM | show profile hello all. i'm a freelancer but have focused mainly on corporate writing for the past several years. i have a few features i'd like to pitch but need help with the pitch letter. are there any examples of a great, kick-ass pitch letter anywhere that i might refer to? i've googled such but came up empty. thanks for any guidance. |
| dribbledrive1 | Posted 4/9/2008 3:25:57 PM | show profile Google the phrase "query letter." You'll find 10 billion articles on this topic with samples. Lisa Colliler wrote a whole book on it. The people at writersweekly.com sell an ebook with samples of queries that generated $2K plus assignments. One of mine is in it. |
