Posted 4/14/2008 2:04:39 AM | show profile | email poster hello, i'm not sure if this question is redundant here or not but any thoughts are greatly appreciated -- i have five+ years of pr/communications experience and am ready for a transition. i've enjoyed ghost-writing for clients in the past (in many different forums) and have very few reporting credits to my own name. as i try to make this transition to writing by looking for freelance work, what are your thoughts in in this type of situation? without trying to take credit for someone else's past work as a demonstration of my writing skills, i'd like to become bylined as i try to move on and would rather provide something that has been published rather than providing writing samples. any suggestions as to where i can try in the general lifestyle area would be great, that may be more open to freelancer's than others and help open doors at the right publications. any ideas at all are helpful, thank you.
