did you lose 20 lbs because of the bike? I started riding more lately and am already noticing a change in physique.

Congrats on the weight loss. Now, share your secret!

The Secret
A butt-load of willpower!

The bike riding helped but what really worked for me is based on Harley Pasternak's Five Factor Fitness.

I watch what I eat--and know what is good for the bod and what just turns into excess around my middle. So, I do not eat High Fructose Corn Syrup or Hydrogenated Oils. Ever. Some say that those two ingredients are the most major factors in America's obesity issues. I eat a ton of fresh fruits and veggies. I balance my carbs with proteins. I quit drinking booze (except an occasional Stoli/soda.) And I eat whatever the heck I want on Sunday--my day off--I even drink beer!

The workout is super simple and takes only 25 minutes/ 5 days a week. It alternates reps/rest times ... incorporates core and strength training and a bespoke amount of cardio.

I am pretty proud of myself:) My body looks better than ever and I feel confident in how persistent I have been with it! I don't plan to ever change this lifestyle.

For a more in depth look at what I did--the plan--you can see it on my website at ...

thanks holiday...I'm all for a 25 minute workout. I'm doing more than that right now, but I could eat and drink better.
I stay away from bad oils, only cook with olive oil and don't ingest corn syrup. I don't even buy butter and use very little salt. We eat a lot of raw fruits and veggies, fish once a week.

My trouble is carbs. I just love them way too much. And when I don't eat them, I get voracously hungry, especially after running or bike-riding or yoga.

I'm taking a look at that website. Thanks for the tip.
