Topic: the blue collar, working class candidate?

Clearly, I must have the financial terms mixed up in my uneducated mind, because certainly there are millions of working mothers and fathers out there who can loan themselves millions of dollars for a political endeavor. Add to this the anecdotal revelation during the 1995 congressional elections when this very candidate blew off the working class southern voters with the wonderful epithet "screw 'em." Call me crazy, but if she represents the populist candidate of choice for the working class, I've a notion that a supposed bit of elitism certainly isn't going to hurt me all that much. |
