| Nosey_one | Posted – 5/10/2008 9:03:20 AM | show profile The Vote for the Worst site is at it again this, but this time they are backing David Archuleta as the worst singer in the final three on the hugely popular American Idol show. Yes the highly popular David Archuleta. The VFTW.com site always picks whom they consider the worst contestant on the American Idol show. Some of their most memorable picks have been Scott Savol, who they called FaFu, which I believe was short for 'Fat Fool'. That rocketed the VFTW site to News media worthy status. VFTW also picked Kevin 'Chicken Little' and Phil Stacey. But the most famous pick was the pony hawked Sanjaya Malakar who gained the site infamy by all American Idol fans. The site owners were everywhere.   This time around VFTW site has picked David Archuleta. That is correct David Archuleta who is considered on the best singers in the group and was an early favorite to win the whole show. But recently Archuleta has had many detractors, plus the antics of his father has made Archuleta disliked by many American Idol fans who believe that he is a one trick pony and one dimensional. Some claim that he is a puppet controlled by his over bearing stage dad. But their is no denying that Archuleta is a very talented singer. He also appears to be very humble and an all around nice guy. He is reportedly extremely shy and really sweet. So is Archuleta the worst singer on American Idol? I don't believe so, but it is up to the American viewing public. Some are claiming that U.S. society is now very cynical and mean, and that Archuleta is out of step with the edgy cynical teens of today. Also this season Vote For the Worst has been the kiss of the death to many of the contestants they have picked. Will their influence help or hinder David Archuleta's voting block on American Idol? We will soon find out next week, because it is down to the final three contestants if this effects Archuleta's stance on the show. Stay tuned AI viewers and see what happens.
