You should post this in Media or beginner's .. but there are many ways to pursue a delinquent client. When does the contract specifiy they will pay? Has that time passed? Send an email saying, "As the X deadline for payment has passed 30 days ago, I expect to be paid for my work on Y assignment by Z." (Maybe 2 weeks.) Call to follow up. Call again and again.

If they don't pay, sue in small claims court.
