| johnkarp | Posted 5/12/2008 12:24:25 PM | show profile I keep getting a "Temporarily Unavailable" message when I try to submit an job application. Is everyone getting this problem? If so, when will it be fixed? If not, is there something I can do to fix it? I'm using both Safari and Firefox and I get the same results. Thanks for any help you can provide! |
| slink | Posted 6/4/2008 11:07:58 PM | show profile Switch your browser to Firefox and you should be fine! This is a vBav scripting error associated with Safari. |
| liana | Posted 6/5/2008 2:46:35 PM | show profile | email poster You can contact me directly when you are experiencing this problem, there can be a couple of reasons for the message to appear but I can help you find out what went wrong. Thanks! liana@mediabistro.com |
| johnkarp | Posted 7/15/2008 1:18:57 AM | show profile Hi, slink... unfortunately, the Firefox issue has already been tried and neither works. In the end, only a Windows browser worked because I was able to submit it on a PC using IE. It's quite frustrating since my main computer I use is a Mac, and with all of these design jobs asking for Mac use, you might think the site would work with a Mac. I say this because I also used my friend's Mac and it still didn't work. Anyway, Liana, I've sent you an email in regards to this. If you can help me for future applications, it would be much appreciated. Thanks again. |
| WordyBird | Posted 7/15/2008 3:54:55 PM | show profile Frankly, the new format for applying for jobs through MB stinks exactly because of problems like this. Please go back to the old way of including contact information so we can write to people ourselves and reference MB in our cover letters. |
