I was asked to proofread/copyedit the course catalog at the college where I teach part time for grammar, spelling, consistency of tone, and approve it before it goes to publication. It's about 150 pages and I need to tell them how much I will charge. I'm not sure whether to charge by the hour or by the project, and what seems fair and reasonable to ask for an academic project?
