This non-profit organization provides mentoring workshops to middle and high school girls pursuing literary careers, and on Sunday, May 25, a group of the program's current students will be hosting a reading of their works at 2:00 p.m. in the store's third-floor event space. This reading program is in support of the WriteGirl Bookfair. If you shop at the Grove Barnes & Noble on 5/25, and you let your cashier know you're shopping with WriteGirl, a percentage of your total net sales amount (up to 20%) will be donated to the organization. You can buy books, magazines, music, DVDs...even a cup of coffee from our cafe can support these gifted young women.
