Topic: "What I Gave Up for Love" stories needed

Like the title says, this story will profile women (around 300 words per person) who gave something up for love. This can be anything from a bad habit like smoking to something bigger like religion, family (being disowned, for example, because your boyfriend/husband is a different race, religion, etc), an apartment, job or city you live in. I encourage you to think outside of the box, too: perhaps you gave up certain expectations or beliefs. The outcome doesn't necessarily have to be positive, either. Perhaps you gave something up and regretted it because the relationship didn't work out. Sources can be kept anonymous, too. Please email me your stories at maura.kutner@gmail.com.
