Hi--I noticed this forum mainly has reporters looking for sources. I didn't find an MB forum for the reverse (sources looking for editors/reporters) so I'll post here. I have a touching father's day story and I know some editor/reporter is out there looking for a good, timely, interesting heartwarmer.

My father and I have written two books together (Rare Words for Language Lovers and Rare Words II published by Levenger Press). The week the second book shipped to warehouses my dad had a major stroke and severe brain injury and didn't remember his own name. We used the mnemonic rhymes he wrote for our book as part of his speech therapy in rehab in the hospital. He has had a dramatic recovery, and on June 12 we are doing a radio interview that had been canceled in March due to his stroke. My father is a very colorful character and famous as "the man of 1,000 faces."

Thanks, and pass this on to reporters or editors that you think may be interested! Reply via email to reach me fastest.
