When you are asked to include your salary requirements when applying for a job, where exactly do you put it? Do you work it into the text of your cover letter, or can you put it in a separate line at the bottom, such as:

Salary requirement: $xx,xxx-$xx,xxx

Also, does anyone have any idea what the going salary is for an editorial assistant?

Thanks so much.

I would always say some crazy stuff like, what did you pyay the last guy/gal? pay me a little less, you'll be more than satisfied.

i always put it on the last line of a cover lever in a sentence not it's own line. EA salaries are pretty much 26,000-30,000.

i usually put in my second to last paragraph.." Per your request, an acceptable salary range for this job, based on the description and my research, $xx,xxx.xx-$xx,000.00.
